Maria Kassab
While a photographer would view the photographic print as an end point, Maria Kassab sees it as starting place. Whatever additions, or edits an image needs to produce a story, a protest, Maria restores it. Her works have been exhibited in Beirut, Paris, New York, Italy, and Berlin. She is the first Prize photography winner of the Boghossian Foundation 2017 and has exhibited at the Salon d’Automne Sursock Museum 2017. Kassab currently lives and works in Beirut.
