Tanja finds it uncomfortable referring to herself in the third person but will suspend her discomfort for the sake of this bio. Her work is a playground for the verbal, the visual and the visceral. Thought provoking and provocative, she likes to conjure the unusual from the mundane. She lets her imagination run on a long-leash and can often be found making art out of food scraps, decapitated troll dolls and other such oddities.
