Ghazi Baker

Ghazi Baker (born 1967 in Beirut) is a self-taught artist drawing on the aesthetic discipline of a practicing architect (Bachelor of Architecture from the American University of Beirut). Baker’s style could be characterized as an exotic cocktail of lines, poststructuralist art as well as cerebral and deliberately anti-thematic. Always looking to highlight the process itself, his artistic influences include comic books, movies, everyday life, and the human condition. He is currently represented by Mark Hachem Gallery in Beirut, Paris, and New York.
