Omid Shekari is an Iranian artist whose work captures stories which speak universally about how force and violence still determine the rhythms and laws of power in human experience. His work has been exhibited in the United States at The Drawing Center, Marginal Utility Gallery, Pelham Art Center, NADA Art Fair, Gallery Joe, PAFA Museum, Fleisher Art Memorial, Woodmere Art Museum, Greenfield Community College, Ohio State University among others. He is currently a visiting assistant professor at Oberlin College.
