Lana Charara, born in 1992, is a Lebanese artist with a BA in Fine Arts from the Lebanese American University, and is currently doing her MA in Illustration at the Arts University Bournemouth. Though still new to the art world, amongst colleagues she is known for her repurposed 3D assemblages, such as Al Beit’l Mastoor (2014) that has become part of the permanently exhibited collection at the Modern and Contemporary Art Museum of Lebanon. Lana is a highly texture-based and kinesthetically-sensitive artist who enjoys the process of layering diverse mediums in her organic and digital 2D artworks.
